The design of development within the lots is the choice of lot owners, guided by the Okura Management Plan requirements and guidelines. These are in place to ensure well-designed settlement; the maintenance of amenity values; and environmental enhancement through indigenous vegetation.

Owners discuss their design with the Residents Association prior to finalising and submitting building consent applications to the Council. The Association will be looking for consistency with these requirements and guidelines when providing its feedback.
